Alexander Alexandrovich long ago gained fame as one of the legendary forwards of the 1980s, and it is he who owns the record set in domestic hockey for the number of assists in one game - in the match against the Moscow "Wings of the Soviets", held in 1982, Alexander Orlov gave as many as six assists! As part of Spartak, the hockey player played in the period from 1980 to 1985, four times becoming the silver medalist of the USSR championship and twice receiving the famous Spengler Cup. In total, in the USSR championships, Alexander Orlov played as many as 199 matches for Spartak, scoring a total of 156 points (104 assists + 52 goals).
